Barking Heads

I worked for five years as E-Commerce Manager and later Head of Digital at this fun, fast growing UK Pet Food Challenger brand, backed by Piper PE Llp. The D2C business grew from £500,000 to £4,000,000 annual turnover, driven by best in class CRM, Digital Marketing and a strong Subscribe & Save model, with subscription customers accounting for over 75% of customers by the time of exit.

AATU Dog & Cat Food

Alongside Barking Heads, I also ran the ultra premium AATU Pet Food Website for five years, growing it to £1m D2C business, again driven by Subscribe & Save, as well as strong marketing and CRM. I ran the project to build the website you see today, as well as the current Barking Heads website (both sites now owned and managed by IPN).

Pentire Drinks UK & USA

Following five successful years in Pet Food, I moved into the fast growing world of Non-Alcoholic drinks, where I spent two years running Pentire Drinks UK and USA D2C businesses, as well as their Amazon Seller Stores, growing the total business 250% in under two years. Again, I intorduced subscription and setup their Amazon stores from scratch, almost doubling turnover overnight in the USA.

Grass & Co.

Most recently I worked as Head of Digital at Grass & Co., the leading Natural Wellness company. Due to selling best in class CBD products previously, their ability to sell online had been severely restricted by advertising regulations. This job therefore involved starting their new Shopify store from scratch to sell their new range of products, that could be advertised online. Thanks to getting the right infrastructure and advertising funnels in place, sales grew from zero to being on track to hit £1m annually in the space of 10 months, massively boosted by the successful online launch of their award winning canned drinks.

The Glove Specialists - Upgrade to Shopify

An exiting brief to re-build what was a customer made website onto the far easier to manage Shopify platform, for this Devon based Gardening Glove supplier. I worked with the founder, to keep as many of their old marketing assets as possible, while making a new site that was easier for customers to navigate and use, significanly boosting conversion rates and sales, while reducing customer enquiries and complaints. This project involved design work, as well as linking the new website to the client's existing domain name, delivering a seamless transition from the old site to new. The founder is now able to make updates and changes to the website, that he would have previously needed a developer for, thus reducing his developer costs to almost £0.
